Our History
Donald Belanger acquired The Gravel Doctor of Eastern Ontario in 1997. In 2000, its operations expanded and moved to 4823 North Augusta Road, the current location. The Gravel Doctor really began to take off when the retail division opened offering a full line of landscape products, stone, mulch, soil, sand and other landscape products including garden products and flowers.
		In 2004 the company acquired Accent Landscaping, a local company that had been in the landscaping business for over a decade. The Gravel Doctor can now offer a full range of services all year long, from gravel driveway restoration, landscaping and lawn cutting services and in the winter months snow plowing and removal.
In 2008, The Gravel Doctor became a distributor for , Colonial Brick and Stone as well as General Seed. We can now offer a professional and beautiful selection of products and installation. In 2009 we also became a distributor for Warwick Salt offering Eco-Friendly products such as Magnesium Chloride De-Icer. Our services to date include, concrete driveways, curbs and patios, backhoe services and recently added asphalt driveways. We offer all of these services with our pledge to customer satisfaction. We believe our success is based on our staff, the services and dedication that we offer to our customers. The Gravel Doctor is a growing company that plans to expand and grow each and every year! We are also proud members of the Brockville Chamber of Commerce, Better Business Bureau and Landscape Ontario. We have been nominated two years in a row for the Elizabethtown/Kitley Business of the Year.
